I have to admit that I was in two minds about these curtains when they first arrived as my first impression was that they did look rather dull (I bought the Red Wine colour) and I even looked up how to return them! However, when I tried them against the windows they looked completely different and I am so glad now that I kept them. I have had to have them turned up as we have in-between ready made curtain lengths but although mine have standard linings and not blackouts, they do keep the light out and because they are quite thick, will keep the draughts out in the winter months and make our living room look very cosy. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.
