Turquoise Dorset Button with an Enamel Unicorn Charm

I have made this Dorset Button using a 100% cotton perle thread in a lovely minty turquoise on a 25mm brass ring. The finished button is slightly larger. The button has been attached to a gold coloured lobster claw catch together with a sweet enamel unicorn in white with turquoise mane and tail. It’s a lovely accessory as this type of catch enables you to move it easily around from place to place whether onto a bag or a spiral bound notebook or journal. The total hanging length is approx. 2” (5cm) It will be sent wrapped in tissue paper and would make a lovely small gift. For more charms in this range please visit the Small Charms Section. I am really passionate about Dorset Button making which was an old cottage industry that sadly died out with the arrival of mechanisation. The W.I revived it and I am trying in a small way to help keep it alive.
